WHAT’S UP WITH THE BRAND NAME?
And the brand name? What’s up with that? 😅 Why would anyone choose this name for a quality backpack? It makes no sense!
Some of you expressed an interest in knowing how we came up with this name 😃.
It had to be a name that would draw attention, something very unusual and funny that would be easy to remember.
There was no inspiration at first. So I asked my kids if they had any ideas. Teenagers can be very creative. And it didn’t take long for a first answer to come: “shitty backpacks”.
It almost came out spontaneously from my son. He hadn’t given it any thought. Exactly what was needed: a spontaneous inspiration. We had a good laugh but this was actually taken seriously. It sounded very interesting, but not quite perfect yet.
A day later my husband suggested the name “my shitty backpack” and this was it. A lot of you love it and some others don’t. Still, somehow it has to be this name. Cannot please everyone can we?
Also, there is an implied reference to a “hempy” product in the name.
For those of you who do not like logos, they can easily remove the label so that the backpack is neutral.
